Eduardo joined the SEABU leadership team in January 2017. He relocated from the Philippines where he most recently led the Finance function for the Region. During his tenure in the Philippines, he played a key role in the development and implementation of key business strategies and plans that contributed to the turn-around of the business, the refranchising and transition from BIG to Coca-Cola Femsa, and on driving a significant increase in System Profitability over the last five years.

Eduardo is a veteran of the Coca-Cola System. He joined the Company in 1996 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility across various disciplines of Finance, Franchise Leadership, Strategic Planning and Business Development in several of our Business Units in Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Corporate, and now will be with us in South Africa.

He started his career with Coca-Cola in Argentina back in 1996 through the Young Professionals Program of the South Latin BU, where he was later appointed Financial Planning and Treasury Coordinator. In 1998 Eduardo began his international career relocating to Atlanta to join the Corporate Audit Department as Senior International Auditor; in 2002 he was appointed Region Finance Manager for Ecuador, and later served as Operations Finance Manager for the North Andean BU out of Peru, a position he held until 2004 when he became the Commercial Finance Director for the Latin Center BU based in Costa Rica. Between 2007 and 2010 he assumed the role of BU Finance Director for the Italy BU where he took a leading role in the consolidation of the north and south Italy franchises under Coca-Cola Hellenic, as well as the integration of the Fonti Del Vulture Water JV, between TCCC and CCH. Finally, in 2010 he moved to the Philippines to become the System Strategic Planning Director, and later on Philippine’s Region Finance Manager.

Before joining Coca-Cola, Eduardo worked a few years in several finance roles at Mercedes-Benz and Bell South in Argentina.

I am sure that with the diverse and rich experiences that he has had, he will be a strong addition to our team and will be very successful in his new role.

Eduardo is a Chartered Public Accountant from the Buenos Aires University, holds a Degree in Business Administration from same University, and has recently graduated from the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

In his free time, Eduardo loves to play tennis and travel.
