Mpumi Mazibuko is the Legal Counsel Director for the Southern and East Africa Business Unit. Mpumi joined the Coca-Cola Company in 2012 and has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility, including most recently as the Legal Counsel supporting the Central Africa Franchise in the Southern and East Africa Business Unit.

Prior to joining the Coca - Cola Company, Mpumi served and completed his articles of clerkship in 2005 at DM Kisch Inc, and was subsequently employed as an associate at the corporate law firm Webber Wentzel Bowens. In 2007 Mpumi joined Spoor & Fisher, where he was involved in general trade mark matters, copyright law, unlawful competition and commercial matters.  In 2009 and 2010 Mpumi was seconded to the 2010 FIFA World Cup as a legal manager for the Rights Protection Programme. 

Last year, Mpumi was a member of the cohort that was nominated to the Bain Academy Leadership Program in SEABU. 

Mpumi holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree from the University Of Cape Town (UCT), a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Law from the University of Johannesburg (UJ). He has also obtained group 1 qualification from the South African Institute of Intellectual Property (SAIIPL). Mpumi is an admitted attorney and member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces and is also a member of the National Association of Democratic Lawyers (NADEL-Johannesburg Branch).
