Jonathan Ojany is the Director of Strategy and Insights for the West Africa Business Unit.  He joined The Coca-Cola Company in 2014 as the Strategy and Business Planning Director for Central, East and West Africa Business Unit based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Prior to Coca-Cola, Jonathan was the Director of Global Strategy at the InterContinental Hotels Group, IHG (based in Atlanta, GA). In this role he focused on delivering big-bet strategic initiatives across +4,500 company owned and franchise hotels globally resulting in improvements in investor ROI across IHG’s 9 global hotel brands.

He has an extensive background in Management Consulting having spent 5 years at McKinsey and Company based out of Chicago.  This role included covering both strategy and operations across several industries including CPG, Travel and Logistics, Energy and Financial Service across North America (US and Mexico). He also had a stint at Booz Allen Hamilton in London focused on financial services across Europe and the Middle East.

Jonathan has an MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania as well as two Bachelor of Science Degrees (honors) in Architectural and Civil Engineering from Drexel University, PA

His interests include travel, socio-cultural anthropology (amateur), squash and swimming. He is active in economic development across marginalized communities having actively driven major social projects in Kenya, the US and Micronesia.
