Coca-Cola South Africa’s involvement with the African Leadership Academy (ALA) continued into 2015 with another exciting marketing project. Thirteen students from ALA were briefed on an assignment focused on engaging with The Coca-Cola Company’s key target market: teens. The students, who are between the ages of 15-18 years, came from various African countries and were given an opportunity to present a final marketing project to Coca-Cola South Africa’s marketing leaders in the hope that their ideas would put forward nuggets and insights regarding the youth of our continent. The students worked on the project over their holiday and were paired with Coca-Cola mentors to guide them through the process.
