In August 2011, Coca-Cola South Africa (CCSA) was awarded a Silver accolade in The Khuza Awards’ Outstanding Youth Marketing Communication Television Category (kids) for their brilliant work on the FIFA World Cup Trophy advert.

Since 2004, The Khuza Awards have identified the adverts and brand communication campaigns that have earned the thumbs up from youth (ages 8-23). In 2011, the Awards reflected the opinions of over 1,200 young South Africans from Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town in five categories of work: TV, print, outdoor, radio and online.
