For the second consecutive year, Coca-Cola was named winner of the coveted Grand Prix Overall Favourite Brand category at the 2014 Sunday Times Top Brands awards. The brand also came out tops in the Grand Prix Social Investment category and secured second place for the Grand Prix Green Award category.

The company dominated the Soft Drinks category, with Coca-Cola coming first, followed by Sprite in 2nd, Stoney and Sparletta in joint 3rd and Fanta in 4th place.
These awards are as a result of the annual Sunday Times Top Brands Survey which is commissioned by Sunday Times and is now in its 16th year. The survey, involving 3,500 interviews, gauges consumer sentiment towards brands, and delivers valuable insights to business leaders and marketers in South Africa.
