Valpré Premium Spring Water, South Africa’s largest-selling bottled water, has been awarded with the “Gold Quality” label by Monde Selection, an International Institute for Quality Selections. This is the first time a water brand (premium or mainstream) has received this prestigious award, demonstrating Coca-Cola’s high quality standards.

Monde Selection awards quality labels for consumer goods in the categories of spirits and liqueurs; beers, waters and soft drinks; food; diet and health; cosmetics and toiletries; and tobacco. These labels reward companies for their constant efforts in quality control and development.

To receive an award by Monde Selection, the Valpré brand team submitted a certificate of analysis and product samples of Valpré’s sparkling and still variants. The samples were sent to Belgium where they were tasted by all the jury members who voted individually and independently.

It will serve as a point of differentiation in the marketplace.”
