Coca-Cola Zimbabwe is giving away a whooping US$150 000 worthy of weekly prizes in Chill out with Coke promotion which rolled out on 6 February and will end on 30 April 2017.

To stand a chance to win a share of the mega prize, consumers have to buy any one of the Coca-Cola’s participating packs, that include 300mls, 360mls, 500ml, one litre or 2 litres or any of the participating Coca-Cola products namely, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes and/or Sparletta with the yellow caps.

To enter the promotion, one has to send the unique code inside the bottle cap together with his or her town of residence to the short message code 38883 in the format UniqueCode#Town.  Each sms costs 5 cents while each entry code can only be entered once.

Weekly draws are being conducted and broadcasted on ZBC TV every Monday between 7:55 to 8:00PM with 500 luck winners walking away with various cash prizes ranging from US10 to $250 or cases of Coca-Cola products.  The draws are computerised as the world’s biggest beverage manufacturer has moved away from the traditional draws where consumers would fill entry forms, throw them in an entry box for someone to select the winner to modern computer operated draws.

A total of 6000 consumers are expected to win by the time the promotion winds up in April.

Coca-Cola Marketing activations manager Ms Vee Chibanda said that the promotion was one of the many ways of Coca-Cola’s give-back to the community initiatives.

“This is one of our many ways of saying thank you to our customers who have always been supporting us since time immemorial.  We are simply ploughing back to them by giving them that extra smile that comes with drinking a Coca-Cola.  Every year we always find something to give to our consumers as part of corporate social responsibility.”

“Coca-Cola symbolises happiness and we want to reward our customers by giving them the extraordinary value for their purchase for them to taste the feeling that comes with drinking Coke.”

The promotion has brought lots of excitement and fortunes for many Zimbabweans who have, for decades, endorsed Coca-Cola as their number one non-alcoholic beverage.

The promotion comes after Coca-Cola recently showered musicians who excelled in Coca-Cola Radio Zimbabwe and ZBC TV Coke Top 50 and fans who correctly predicted the top five charts with various prizes ranging from cash to expensive electronic gadgets.

Last year around this time, Coca-Cola gave away US$200 000 in school fees vouchers to lucky winners through the EduCoke promotion.
